We could be a hundred. Studios that grow headcount end up selling hours, and a studio that sells hours stops being able to say no. We've stayed small because the thing we're actually selling is judgement, and judgement doesn't scale by hiring.Ten years in, we've shipped over 250 products, won 24 international awards including Red Dot and iF, and we've been profitable, debt-free and independent since 2015. No outside money, no board, no growth target somebody else set.
We have never once had to take a project we didn't believe in to make payroll. That's the entire reason we can afford to tell you the truth.

The Founder’s Vision Behind Analogy Design
Vyasateja Rao is a multi-award-winning product designer with over two decades of experience and the founder of Analogy Design. He completed his Master’s in Industrial Design from North Carolina State University in 2007. He has worked across the United States, Hong Kong, China, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and India. His work spans physical products, digital experiences, and production-led design. His global exposure shapes the studio’s practical and market-driven mindset. Under his leadership, Analogy Design has earned 23 international awards including the Red Dot Award, IBDC, and Singapore Design Award. He has designed for brands such as Panasonic, Unilever, Amazon, Marvel, and Cellairis. VT Rao is also deeply involved in mentoring young designers and promoting real-world design thinking. He emphasizes contrast, surprise, and hidden details to create meaningful experiences. His vision continues to guide the studio’s creative and technical direction.
