Simplifying the customization process.

Cellairis entered the customization business for various cellphone accessories globally as part of its wide franchise network and distribution. Something unique they were trying to achieve was to reduce the time to purchase and make this offering more accessible to people. However, being in the retail space, understanding the user needs, and creating relevant customer journeys to unite web, mobile and the store experience was what we set out to solve.

The Tool Box

The universal toolbox is a user-friendly design tool that becomes powerful when its features are combined. With the use of common design looks and color palettes, users can create professional-level graphical prints. The UI is designed to be simple yet powerful, with controls layered with gestures such as pinch, pull, and long-press.

The app’s Layered Editing mode allows users to combine colors, shapes, textures, and prints, resulting in unique high-quality prints. This mode of editing enables users to achieve depth and complexity in their designs, comparable to those found in professional prints.

The Universal Toolbar is designed as the central point of interaction in the app, providing users with a familiar editing style similar to that of many professional applications.

The Customization Toolbar is collapsible, saving overall space, and can be customized according to each user’s preferences. This feature enhances the user experience, as users can personalize their workspace to suit their needs.

The Scale and Skew mechanisms are guided by indication gesture areas, which help guide the user into performing the desired action accurately. This intuitive approach provides a simple and user-friendly way of scaling and skewing images in the app.
