Not all of them made it.
Some of the companies we’ve built products for don’t exist any more. Their products shipped. We’ve held them, they worked, they were the first of their kind. The companies ran out of runway, or the market moved, or the founder moved on.
We’re telling you this because a portfolio with no failures in it is a portfolio that is lying to you, and you are about to bet several years of your life on whether we tell you the truth.
